Two oil rich countries held elections this weekend. Both parties in power were expecting big wins.
Vladimir Putin had all the mechanisms of government and power on his side in Russia’s election. And he won big. Not a surprise there.
But…
Hugo Chavez had all the mechanisms of government and power on his side in Venezuela’s election. And he lost. How?

The difference between Chavez and Putin is that Putin made many more people rich than Chavez did. The state is taking over too much control in Venezuela.
