Riots Erupt Across Kenya as Election Results still Unknown

After waiting for hours in lines that were over a mile long in many polling districts, Kenya’s electorate has no patience for the sluggish pace of election returns. And now it is turning violent. In Mirogi 3 people were shot and killed while protesting.
The weeks leading up to the election and election day itself was seen as a ray of hope for peaceful democratic elections in Africa. Instead, it has descended into uncertainty and violence.
To make matters worse, the leaders of each party have both declared victory.
