Report: Systematic Effort by White House to Manipulate Climate Change Science
Posted on December 10, 2007 - Filed Under climate crisis |
The House committee on Oversight and Government Reform issued a scathing report on the Bush administration today. According to the report, “The evidence before the Committee leads to one inescapable conclusion: the Bush Administration has engaged in a systematic effort to manipulate climate change science and mislead policymakers and the public about the dangers of global warming.”
Since the committee Chairman, Congressman Henry Waxman, is a partisan democrat, the data should be verified by independent non-partisan sources. However, at first read, this report is frightening. Kudos to the staff on the committee for crafting such a comprehensive report and for keeping the Administration’s failures on climate change in the news.

glad to see henry waxman is on top of this! the bush administration record on this issue is pathetic.
Blogflict compared Chavez to Putin last week but I think the real comparison is to look at Chavez to Bush. Both try to control information flow and keep the truth from the public.
This is what every white house does. Clinton did the same thing — on other issues. White House’s all attempt to control information flow. This is all rather silly.
