Palin to Meet World Leaders in NYC

by: Jason Haber Monday, September 22nd, 2008

The McCain campaign is looking to beef up Gov. Sarah Palin’s foriegn policy resume, since the extent of it is her ability to see Russia from parts of Alaska.

So this week as the United Nations General Assembly opens, she will meet with former Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger, President Álvaro Uribe of Colombia, President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan, President Jalal Talabani of Iraq, President Asif Ali Zardari of Pakistan and President Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia.

So by meeting with world leaders for two days she will suddenly have the foriegn policy experience and national security knowledge to be VP and perhaps President?

Perhaps during the meetings, Palin will share her view on issues both domestic and international.  If so, I would like to see the horrified looks on the faces of Saakashvili and Karzai.  Not only is Palin completely incapable of holding a conversation on international affairs, she holds extremist views that if enacted would set America backwards.

It should be noted that Palin will be in the media capital of the world, NYC, and now might be a good time to give a press conference, something she has yet to do.

This is really a pathedic move by McCain to up Palins knowledge. I meet Obama twice, now I suppose I’m qualified to run for President! Palin maybe a nice lady, however most people are nice. That is not the issue. Shame on McCain for this political stunt. So much for country first spin!!!!!

I wonder why you think she is a nice lady. I don’t see anything but an egotistical, power hungry, dangerous woman.

Obama has not ever anwered how he is going to fix problems, and you are all so blinded by his ghetto popstar status. What is good for Chicago, is not good for Texas.

She will be taking no questions (again) and it’s just a photoshot/publicity stint. Her entrie educational background is journalism. She may run around and tell them all she can see Russia from Alaska, tho.

You all need to Google McCain and Charles Keating to read about the S&L debacle back in the 80’s, the last time the fed bailed out financial institutions. McCain was caught helping Keating try to cover up his losses and was censured by congress. Thousands of people lost their life savings because of this.

And to the person who says that Obama doesn’t have a plan, you have not been listening. Go to his web site and you will see. But it sounds like you are racist and will vote for the old, crotchety, dishonest, war monger anyway.

To the person who refers to Obama’s popularity as “ghetto superstar status” please refrain from exposing the world to your ignorant, limited, racist mentality. People like you are the reason why the much of the world looks at Americans as ignorant, red-neck, dirty cowboys and cowgirls.

Palin meets with world leaders… *sigh* a thinly veiled attempt at redirection at best… so she met with Hamid Karzai and discussed the name of his honored child… super… like that will have an impact on world affairs… all of it just a cheap card trick to try and convince us all that she has a clue… not happening here
