Palin Talks on Troopergate
Sarah speaks. Unlike Joe Biden, who frequently talks to the media, Sarah Palin hasn’t been doing so much of that since each interview turned into a fiasco. But today she spoke to reporters. A KTUU reporter asked, “Do you think you did anything wrong at all in this troopergate case?” The governor replied, “Not at all. And I’ll tell you — I think that you’re always going to ruffle feathers if you do what you believe is in the best interests of the people whom you are serving.”
The Alaska ethics panel which has 10 republicans and 4 democrats thinks differently. In their rather harsh 263 page report, they find that Palin did plenty wrong when she breached state ethic laws when she, her husband and members of her administration tried to get the ex-husband of her younger sister fired as an Alaska state trooper.
The following is a transcript according to KTUU of an exchange today between Palin and the media:
Question: A lot of people have voiced concerns about what they call ‘attacks of good people.’
Palin: Well I haven’t heard of any attacks on good people in Alaska from our campaign.
Question: What about calling Monegan a rogue?
Palin: Rogue isn’t a negative term when you consider that in a cabinet you need a team effort going forward with a governor’s agenda. Our agenda has been to find efficiencies in every department. And make sure that we are serving the people of Alaska.
Ok, so rouge isn’t a negative term? Since when? I guess, since now.

Sarah Palin is aggressive, unethical, ruthless and not too bright. That makes her very dangerous. She is not someone that we need to be a heart beat away from the presidency.

Actually, I am very happy. I love my country and I am proud to be an American. My father was awarded the Purple Heart at Pearl Harbor, and when he recovered from that injury he fought in the South Pacific. That does not qualify him to be president and he is not voting for John McCain. My husband served in the U.S. Navy for 25 years and was highly decorated. He was on the USS Wisconsin during the first Gulf War. He is not qualified to be president either, nor is not voting for John McCain.
Our country needs a new direction and we are not going to find that direction with a McCain/Palin ticket. Because I am an American, I get to voice my opinions and vote. I choose to vote for Barack Obama.

A judge said she was wrong but she didn’t do anything wrong. TYpical left handed bs. People voting for Obama are kidding themselves and only exposing the hate they felt in the last election. Grow up and face the facts… Obama is a babe in the woods.. he knows nothing.

This investigation had started prior to her nomination for vice president. It was initiated by republicans, not democrats. She initially said “bring it on” and only tried to squash it after her nomination. This was not a criminal investigation, it was an ethics investigation and they determined that she did violate ethic regulations. It seems to me that you might be the one that needs to face some facts.
