Pakistan Gov’t backtracks on Bhutto sunroof claims

The power of video images has trumped the Musharraf governments claim that Benazir Bhutto was killed when her head struck the roof of her car, not by a assassins bullet.  Now the Interior Ministry has stated Bhutto died during a shooting and bomb attack.  The government also published a reward offer in several national newspapers to anyone who could identify two suspects from the killing. The January 8th elections are now expected to be delayed by at least 4 weeks.
The Washington Post is reporting that Bhutto’s doctors were placed under extreme pressure to remain silent about Bhutto’s condition and removed her medical records from the hospital.
That has to make you wonder, why would they do such a thing?
