New Popular Search Term in China Is…
That’s right. The Chinese people are very curious about the McCain VP nominee (so are we). While she has yet to give an interview, she is attracting widespread international attention.
According to FT: “To China, either Obama becoming the first black president or Palin becoming the first female vice-president are equally exciting,” said Shen Dingli, professor of American Studies at Shanghai-based Fudan University. Prof Shen was quick to note: “We do not yet have enough information to assess Sarah Palin right now. But so far, from her debut, I think she impressed people with being very stable without any noticeable mistakes.”One blogger for the Strong China website said: “I didn’t even know Obama had rivals after Hillary lost her campaign. Now suddenly there comes a new female face. Now it is hard to say who will win.”
Sarah Palin’s gone global. Now if only she would take some questions….

Comment made on September 6th, 2008 at 10:21 amI would like an explanation for her saying in her speech that she said “No thank you” to the Bridge to Nowhere, when in fact she accepted the money to build it. Only in the face of opposition did she decide not to proceed with its construction.
I really hope Joe Biden does not let her gender get in the way of a good debate.

Palin is a light weight. She is Dan Quayle in a dress. The only difference is she is being treated with kid gloves because she is a woman. This is sexism at its worst. Does any one remember the verbal assault Quayle took ?
