In the truncated primary schedule of 2008, the fortunes of candidates can change in an instant.  A little over a month after winning New Hampshire and looking to big victories in February, Hillary Clinton’s campaign is suddenly looking to make a dramatic last stand.  Come March 4th, Clinton supporters are now saying that she must win both Ohio and Texas or the race will be over for her, according to a well-written piece in today’s New York Times.   Today, Barack Obama is expected to sweep the ‘Beltway Primary’ in DC, Virginia and Maryland.

Now would be a good time to remember the Winston Churchill quote, “Politics is almost as exciting as war, and quite as dangerous. In war you can only be killed once, but in politics many times.”
