Gore Urges Bold Moves in Nobel Speech

From Oslo, Al Gore called on the Bali Conference members to make progress on climate change.  “They will need to make the boldest moves, or stand accountable before history for their failure to act,” Gore said.

AL Gore has done more than any other person to raise the awareness of climate change.  History will recall his efforts and note his significance far more than his 2000 Presidential defeat.  Today we look back with embarrassment that it took America so long to achieve racial desegregation and the right for woman to vote.   One day, we will add our reluctance to do something about climate change to that list.  And just as we look back on civil rights and women’s rights leaders with reverence, so too shall history judge Al Gore.

I never thought I would say this, but the world needs more Al Gore’s…(and while we are at it, less George Bush’s).
