Baghdad can still be a dangerous place.  Today, a stark reminder of that was served when two mentally disabled women were strapped with explosives Friday and sent into busy Baghdad markets, where they were blown up by remote control.  The death toll is at least 73, with over 100 wounded.

The first struck at a popular pet market around 10:30 a.m. in Baghdad, killing at least 46 people and wounding 82, the Iraqi Interior Ministry said.  The second blast happened 30 minutes later, killing 18 and wounding 25.

In both bombings, the attackers were wearing suicide vests, according to Qasim Atta, a spokesman for the Baghdad security plan.  Atta told state TV that both women were mentally disabled and their explosives were remotely detonated.

    YOU GOT IT WRONG:

They did NOT blow themselves up. The devices were remotely detonated. They were just treated as less than “trash” by their handlers. This paraphrases Islamofascism perfectly. This is the enemy of Western Civilization showing its true colors. Next time reporters, get it right. These “bombers” were not suicide bombers. They were just executed as “mental defectives.”
