Clinton Campaign Under Fire

This wasn’t the best week for the Clinton Campaign. Senator Clinton’s comments about landing in Bosnia during a 1996 trip were played over and over again, showcasing the difference between what she originally said happened after the plane landed and what actually did happen. Candidates makes honest mistakes, from both parties, and there is generally some room given for these kinds of malapropisms. John McCain made one last week in Iraq and Barack Obama made one recently as well.
But in this age of digital media and online file sharing, mistakes like the one made by Clinton can be endlessly exploited. This video below has been played on youtube about 1 million times since it first appeared by the people at barelypolitical.com. This isn’t a blog about satire, but we do look at online media trends, and no doubt this a trend that should not be ignored.
