China’s Golden Moment?

Posted on June 17, 2008 - Filed Under China |

iConflict reporter Shaun Skolnick met with people from all over the world to gauge their opinion on the Olympics being held in China. The motto for the Olympic Games is “swifter, higher, stronger,” which might be a more fitting slogan to the host country than to the Olympics.

One thing is clear the 2008 Summer Olympics will not be without controversy. What do you think?

Dove, get real. A boycott will do no good except give people like you a hobby. The best way to get change done is to work with China and encourage reform. Oh and by the way, we need China more than they need us, not that you are aware of that or anything.

Western media are not doing their work honestly to advocate such a topic. Talk to people, meet the people, don’t hate someone you don’t know just because some one tell you so.
Jaw jaw and not war war.
Lastly, read both side of the story in this self interest world.

It’s just a game and let it go. For me, it’s really annoying. Not only the Reportor Without Border things is annoying, the Olympic Game itself is annoying too. Lots of factories and zones in my city have been power cut-off week by week recently, because there is no coal to be used in the power station, the reason why there is no coal is because the administrater don’t want any mine-accident any more before 08/8/8. Still I’m happy that I’m not living in Beijing now. Some of my pals live in the Capital even want to escape from there.
But something you can enjoy as “Olympic Bonus”, the sensitive topics in Youtube concerned China(Including Taiwan,Dalai something) have never been baned at all.

Note to the 50-cent Red Army:

Your grammar, spelling and syntax skills need work.
