A report released by the Pentagon on China today is alarming for several reasons. The report claims:

1. China is developing a weapon that would disable the military satellites by potential adversaries during times of crisis.

2. China is actively developing software to crack the US military computer system.

3. China is investing heavily in improved nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles and anti-satellite missiles.

The Pentagon report lists China’s military expenditure at between $97 and $139 billion. By comparison, this year the US will spend over $480 billion on the military. To read the full report, click here.

0.002% of Chinese people are in the military

0.003% of Americans are in the military.

America spends more than the next 10 countries combined.

I am not concerned about China. Perhaps you might want to try living there for a while before you call them “Bin Laden.” Unlike America, it’s quite a bad thing to own a gun (in fact, it’s illegal), and people who are in the military are looked down upon (since they couldn’t get into college).

The only threat to world stability is Americans and Chinese making stupid assumptions about each other. It doesn’t matter how many guns or bombs you have, so long as you talk about it. It will be very many years before China’s military is even close to America’s

China a threat? That must be the joke of the century. As highlighted by amonymous, China military power is nowhere near that of US. The world still remember the deceit planted by both US and British on Iraq having WMD. China on the other hand, practically does not any enemies either from Christians, Muslims, Jews, Westerners and even the poor Africans. So what threats are we talking of?

WOW……… we have so many experts on the financial and social prowess of China… perhaps they should have direct contact with the Pentagon. I’m impressed if it wasn’t for the grammer faults. And… the WMD’s… the only deceit was the urgency of the move. Do you really think that that country does NOT have access.. grow up. But they aren’ stupid.. they initiate and we go you betcha they go.. and the fallout would be horrendous.. it’s a balancing act weights and countermeasures. and the strong and smartest will survive.. you think not? look at Wallstreet.
