Cheney Stars in New Obama Campaign Ad
That was a fast turnaround. After VP Dick Cheney’s strong public endorsement of the McCain-Palin ticket was laughed at in many circles (given the VP’s own historic low popularity), the Obama campaign cut this ad which is airing on cable stations across the country on Sunday.
The ad opens by touting Obama’s recent endorsements from investor Warren Buffett and former Secretary of State Colin Powell, then cuts to video of Cheney from an event Saturday in Wyoming.
“I’m delighted to support John McCain,” Cheney says. “I’m pleased that he’s chosen a running mate with executive talent, toughness and common sense, our next vice president Sarah Palin.”
An announcer says McCain earned Cheney’s support by voting with the White House 90 percent of the time. “That’s not the change we need,” the announcer says.

How much for that pardon in the window?
Like Nixon got from Ford?
How much for that pardon in the window?
I sure hope that pardon’s for sale!
Hi. I’m Fake Dick Cheney and I sure hope you’re dumb enough to elect McSame because I’d really like a pardon so I can keep stealing America and not have to run away to Paraguay where Jr. and I have bought estates - because they don’t extradite to the US. There’s just not that much to steal down there.
