Chavez Prepared to Nationalize Colombian Companies
Venezuela is looking to build on its strategic alliance with Ecuador in its latest imbroglio with Colombia. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, warned that a recent Columbian raid into Ecuador that killed two dozen rebels amounted to a “war crime.” He then called for more aggressive action against Colombia.
Venezuela and Colombia have annual trade worth $6 billion between the two nations. Chavez does not seem intent on keeping it that way, “that’s coming down…We aren’t interested in Colombian investments here,” Chavez said. “Of the Colombian businesses that are here in Venezuela, we could nationalize some.”
Instead of importing goods from Colombia, he said Venezuela will look for trading partners in Ecuador, Brazil and Argentina since, “we can’t depend (on Colombia) not even for a grain of rice.”

The only time you spelled Colombia right was when you copy-and-pasted it from another website. I can’t believe I found this off of CNN.
