Peace Deal Signed in Kenya

Kenyan Rivals Agree to Review Election Results

Progress in Kenya has been made.
Today, Kenya’s rival parties have agreed to an independent review of the disputed presidential election.  Since his arrival in the region Kofi Annan has been working furiously to find a way out of this conflict that has left more than 1,000 people dead.
