Bhutto’s death prompts call for Musharraf to quit

Pakistan has been thrown into termoil.   

Former Pakistan prime minister and opposition leader Nawaz Sharif says President Pervez Musharraf must resign immediately to “save Pakistan”, after the assassination of opposition leader Benazir Bhutto.

“I demand that Musharraf quit power, without delay of a single day, to save Pakistan,” he told reporters.

International reaction to the assisination has been widespread and profound.

    If he doesn’t resign, his reign of power will come full circle and he himself will fall in a coup.
